During the 2024 edition of Milan Design Week, Barovier&Toso participated in Fuorisalone with Endless, a site-specific installation set up at the Via Durini showroom. Designed by vandersandestudio, the intervention transformed the ground floor space into an immersive experience with dreamlike atmospheres. The heart of the installation is a series of full-height columns in blown Venetian crystal, infinitely elongated by shaped mirrors mounted on the floor and ceiling. Like sculptures of light, animated by luminous effects, these utopian architectural elements were created by combining thin-ribbed rods inspired by the craftsmanship of the iconic Metropolis chandelier arms. The path wound through a scenario entirely made with these crystal tubular elements, combined to form a multitude of geometric, chromatic, and luminous effects: a suggestive representation of the company's artisanal mastery, combined with its technological expertise and ability to create innovative interpretations of light, always creatively starting from traditional techniques.
