RoCollectible 2024 - Rossana Orlandi Gallery

Milan, Italy

Curated by Rossana Orlandi and her daughter Nicoletta, RoCollectible 2024 was conceived as a personal exploration of contemporary design, set up at the Galleria Rossana Orlandi during Fuorisalone. Eighty designers worldwide were invited to  showcase their respective diversities, thus mapping out the expanded field of international creativity. Two keywords defined the installation path: innovation and craftsmanship, expressed through the combination of established names and emerging talents, in a dialogue between technology, industry, craftsmanship, seriality, and uniqueness. In this context, rich with experimentation and variety, Barovier&Toso was present with the Perseus suspension, designed by Marcel Wanders, who also designed the Daimond wall covering system produced by Timbart, featured in the same set. Explosive, asymmetrical, and multicolored, Perseus is composed of a multitude of elements in blown Venetian glass, crafted using various techniques: a creation capable of producing remarkable effects, shaping light in unexpected ways.
