Les Trois Verres Restaurant

Geneva, Switzerland

Located in the heart of Geneva, at the northern end of the Plainpalais plain, the restaurant offers Italian cuisine with a menu that ranges from tradition to modernity, featuring regional specialties proposed and revisited by chef Roberto Benvegnù. The wine list is meticulously curated, ensuring a complete and valuable experience. Initiated by entrepreneur Olivier Plan, the restaurant's renovation focused heavily on lighting. The dining room exudes an intense and sophisticated atmosphere thanks to three Venezia 1295 chandeliers—elegant, twisted, and full of charm, representing the centuries-old expertise in the art of glass that belongs to Barovier&Toso. The brilliance of Venetian crystal is showcased through scrolls, cups, and many ornamental details, such as the pendants made with the ancient "rostrato" technique, invented in the 1930s by Ercole Barovier. The central chandelier is larger than the other two and is a bespoke black model, with a diameter of 160 cm. The black crystal interacts with the black ceiling, creating an intriguing focal point and an optical play reminiscent of the works of artist Anish Kapoor.
