Private Apartment

Moscow, Russia

A home shaped by both natural and artificial light. The unifying theme throughout the interiors is the white wood paneling that frames all the walls and the elegant false ceilings that discreetly integrate lighting and air conditioning systems. The 218 square meters are almost entirely covered with high-quality herringbone oak parquet flooring. Much of the furniture is custom-made, in wood, and built into the walls, creating a great formal cleanliness and absolute continuity between spaces. Designed by Elena Berezina and realized in collaboration with S-Classic, the apartment features a very refined and welcoming style, characterized by neutral and warm colors. Many Barovier&Toso creations were chosen to create these elegant atmospheres. The living area, which includes both the kitchen and the living room in a single, extraordinarily bright space, is adorned with three Padma lamps, suspended in series above the marble kitchen island. In the center of the relaxation area, a highly detailed botanical decoration on the ceiling frames the Izmir chandelier, reflecting a balanced and precious formal refinement. From the same collection, two wall sconces are placed on either side of the wall-mounted piano, enhancing its presence. In the side living room, the lighting and dramatic effect are provided by the Crown suspension, with its regal brilliance, resulting from a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation. Finally, in the bedroom, the bedside tables are highlighted by the gentle shapes of the Ran lamps, created using the Venetian crystal blowing technique.
