Inside the exclusive Royal Mansour Hotel, the Sesamo Restaurant is an outpost of Italian cuisine in the centre of the city of Marrakesh. Designed by the Alajmo brothers, it resembles a classic Venetian palace with high ceilings, sumptuous drapes, tapestries and fine velvets, referencing the style and charm of Venice.
The luxurious furnishings and materials achieve a harmonious balance between classic and contemporary, also in relation to the philosophy of the award-winning chef Massimiliano Alajmo, who likes to use typical local products to create gourmet recipes that bring Italian culture into contact with Moroccan tastes. The spaces of the Sesamo Restaurant are lit with the Izmir collection, in the chandelier and wall lamp models. The tapered arms with sinuous forms, and the fine workmanship of the Venetian glass, create slender silhouettes full of details, to fit perfectly into the context and give it a unique personality.
