Forceful contrasts, skilful use of light and reflecting surfaces: in this English flat the designer Stephen Knollenberg has carefully honed the design for a sense of abundant space. The mirrors framing the fireplace add depth to the dining room and multiply the light, in tune with the large open base of the table in polished brass. The Saint Germain chandelier is a perfect insertion in the design. The linear arrangement of the arms and the refinement of the minimalist décor draw the eye to distinctive details, like the bobeches and the spherical finiale, made with the gold plating technique, a material that also returns in the finishes and the inside of the shades, for an impeccable combination with violet glass.
