The renovation project of this neoclassical villa, which needed a modern reinterpretation, involved both the interiors and the exteriors. In collaboration with the owners, the Samuel Architects and Anker & Co studios have curated a tailor-made solution, combining architectural and decorative lighting, so as to enhance specific architectural elements, accentuate the spatial experience and give depth to the design through sculptural luminous creations. One example is the Great Gatsby inspired bar located in the heart of the house. Light plays an absolutely essential role and Barovier&Toso takes center stage with the Amsterdam chandelier and two table lamps from the same collection. Amsterdam returns in the wall lamp version in the cinema room, while, in the dining room, the table is illuminated by two Pigalle suspension lamps, with sinuous and refined lines, inspired by the Belle Époque. For setting the lighting scenes in each room, each luminaire can be controlled individually.
